Vantage is looking for a dynamic and innovative Strategic Accounts Executive for our Amped sales group. The Strategic Account Executive will be essential to business development, managing/growing customer relationships and potentially building their own sales team in the future. This is a new group and we need a sales leader with a proven record of success as an individual and as a sales manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet goals for increasing utilization of our hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, Amped.
- Develop direct sales strategy and lead new business generation.
- Nurture existing customer relationships and develop new opportunities.
- Collaborate with in-house Marketing on effective messaging and campaigns.
- Identify top talent to join the inside sales team.
- Motivate, coach and implement best practices to maintain and continue the success our inside sales team.
- Direct day to day activities to insure that all sales quota and management objectives are met.
- Evaluate sales data with powerful in-house tools and utilize customer database to improve productivity and performance.
- Manage issues with customer accounts; gather necessary information for reporting status to VP.
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned to you.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ total years of sales experience, preferably in an outside sales role with software solutions.
- Must have 3+ years of sales management experience, managing a team of 5+ representatives; experience managing an inside sales team is required.
- Minimum of a BA or BS degree.
- Proven multi-year track record of successfully leading teams to surpassing their goals.
- Experience with formal sales management process.
- Some training/certification in formal sales methodology if preferable.
- Energetic, upbeat, tenacious individual that knows how to create and maintain winning team dynamics.
- Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
