Job Summary:
The VantageSportz Sales Manager is a crucial role responsible for managing and growing the sales team and leading the process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is adept to the software sales industry, particularly related to sports management software, is a self-study and has a background as an athlete or coaching or teaching.
Key Responsibilities Included (but not limited to):
  • Successfully close direct sales deals and effectively manage the internal sales team simultaneously
  • Establish and grow your business through cold calling; use of our advanced CRM platform; attend regional conferences and league/district meetings; field/create/develop new business opportunities/effectively manage and coach sales professionals
  • Take ownership and drive the entire sales cycle from open to close
  • Set clear performance expectations, coach, develop, and review activity to help the sales team achieve and exceed expectations
  • Present engaging, high-energy product demonstrations to high school administrators
  • Maintain and service the existing accounts-base
  • Actively communicate user-feedback and ideas to the Product Owner, with the end-goal of making our products better, increase usage and out-perform the competition

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-motivated and self-starter, having the capacity to take direction and execute an action-plan
