Why We Need You:
As VantageSportz continues its rapid growth in both revenue and client base, we’re looking for a strategic, experienced Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead the next phase of expansion. This high-impact leadership role will drive go-to-market strategy, manage strategic accounts, and develop a world-class sales and marketing engine to accelerate adoption and deepen relationships across our customer base including leagues, schools, conferences, officiating organizations, and state associations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Strategic Sales Growth - Own the company’s overall sales strategy and roll-up quota. Design and implement sales plans that align with company goals and drive revenue growth.
Impact: Accelerate new client acquisition while increasing share-of-wallet from existing accounts. - Drive Marketing Strategy & Execution - Define and lead our annual marketing campaigns, events, brand development, and competitive positioning.
Impact: Increase market share and enhance brand visibility within target verticals. - Develop and Manage High-Value Accounts - Drive growth across key strategic clients building, retaining, and expanding relationships with states, leagues, and partners.
Impact: Boost retention and customer lifetime value while increasing adoption of our full platform. - Lead and Mentor Sales & Marketing Teams - Inspire and manage a growing team. Deliver coaching, performance tracking, and development initiatives to improve outcomes across the board.
Impact: Build a results-oriented team culture focused on learning, accountability, and innovation. - Implement Tools, Processes & KPIs - Ensure the sales and marketing teams have the tools, data, and support needed to succeed. Track KPIs, forecast performance, and course-correct as needed.
Impact: Enable informed decision-making and continuous performance improvement. - Champion the VantageSportz Brand - Be a thought leader in the industry. Represent the company at conferences, build strategic partnerships, and elevate our reputation with key stakeholders.
Impact: Strengthen brand authority and drive new opportunity pipelines.
You Need These Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong track record of quota achievement.
- Deep industry expertise in sports software, especially in scheduling, registration, officiating, and athletics tech.
- Demonstrated experience selling to leagues, schools, states, conferences, and officiating bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong leadership, strategy, and communication skills.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have:
- Experience in marketing technology platforms and CRM systems.
- Past success building integrated go-to-market strategies from the ground up.
- Familiarity with athletic department operations or prior experience as an Athletic Director.
